Since 2001, TECMA, with the support of its ILI inspection partners, has placed strong emphasis on the detection of illegal pipeline taps, enhancing the analysis process through a series of pull-through tests performed using samples of real tampering events.
Feedback received from Clients confirms 100% correlation between active and latent illegal tap locations identified by TECMA and those reported through the special inspection data analysis process. known as the “Change Report.”
