In collaboration with Streamline Engineering S.r.l., TECMA is able to integrate its services with a wide range of engineering activities, allowing us to validate studies and operational results and to offer our Clients a comprehensive, end-to-end service.
Following the collection of pipeline data related to pigging operations, TECMA can perform the following activities:

  • Pipeline modeling using dedicated software for fluid-dynamic simulations (LedaFlow, distributed by Kongsberg)
  • Fluid-dynamic studies to verify the pressures and flow rates required for pigging and ILI operations
  • Calculation of nitrogen volumes required for pigging and ILI activities
  • Simulation of pigging phases based on pipeline profile, optimizing operational steps according to the required service
  • Preliminary sizing of equipment required for pigging and ILI operations
  • Preparation of technical reports and operating procedures, including detailed time schedules to support pig tracking (with timelines, operating parameters to be monitored, and description of activities)
  • Field assistance to verify correct operating parameters
  • Calculation of saltation velocity and definition of operating parameters to ensure minimum particle transport conditions for post-ILI cleaning of oxygen service lines
  • Fluid-dynamic simulation of pipeline cleaning by blowdown, including result analysis and issuance of a technical report
