The MAGSIG™ non-intrusive magnetic pig passage indicator by Online Electronics is suitable for installation in Zone 1 classified areas, in full compliance with ATEX (EEC) regulations. The instrument is designed to detect, signal, and record pig passage for any pig equipped with permanent magnets, by measuring variations in the electromagnetic field through the receiving unit.
Installation is carried out using mounting straps, allowing the unit to be secured to the pipeline at a location specified by the Client for pig passage detection.
Optionally, the unit can be equipped with an automatic GSM notification system, also ATEX-certified, to alert operators via SMS when pig passage is detected in the pipeline.
