Using ATEX-certified hydrophone sensors from the THREATSCAN™ instrumentation range, which can be easily installed on existing pipelines, TECMA enables real-time detection of pig passage within the pipeline. All data are recorded and processed through dedicated software.
TRACKATOR™: By detecting the acoustic impact generated by the pig as it travels through the pipeline, this system allows real-time identification of pig passage at welds via dedicated software and enables estimation of the inline tool traveling speed.
LOCALIZATOR™: This system is designed for the location of stuck pigs. By injecting an acoustic pulse from a fixed point on the pipeline and receiving the echo generated by the impact with the pig at the same location, the dedicated software provides a real-time estimate of the relative distance of the pig stopped in the line.
