OIL & GAS FIELD TECHNICIAN

Job Description

We are looking for a Field Technician to carry out on-site service activities across Italy and, occasionally, abroad. The role requires technical skills, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Required Skills:

  • Strong manual skills and experience with assembly/disassembly of work instruments (PIG) – mechanical aptitude.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally internationally.
  • Offshore safety training readiness and ability to work in maritime environments.
  • Valid driving license (B) and comfort with driving.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Teamwork, curiosity, and proactivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and assembly of work equipment (PIG and associated instruments).
  • Pipeline cleaning and inspection operations on oil and/or gas pipelines (piggings).
  • Pig Tracking services using electronic instrumentation.
  • Installation of pipeline reinforcement systems and testing.
  • Maintaining regular communication with company departments responsible for ongoing operations (commercial, technical, logistics).

Contract & Benefits:

  • Full-time employment, Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00; work outside these hours as needed, including holidays.
  • 6-month fixed-term contract (trial) with the possibility of permanent hire.
  • CCNL Commercio Terziario – 14 monthly payments.
